Elaine joined the team in Edinburgh as general manager in training from Hilton where she was part of their much-celebrated graduate management development programme, before holding several roles, from operations to sales. After completing an intense six-month programme at Clockwise she is preparing to make the move across the country, ready to take on the role as opening general manager in Exeter.
Discussing her move to a new city and new role as general manager, she had this to say. “I’m delighted to work for a company who have enabled me to move across the country and empowered me to take on a more senior role. Exeter one of my favourite places, I love the nearby beaches and quaint pubs!
The training has set me up for success and given me a fantastic start within the business. Clockwise recognised my strengths and designed the training to focus on expanding my skills. Having come from a hospitality background this was also a really useful transition – getting me up to speed with the flexible workspace industry.
It’s great to work for a company where individuals are celebrated, and everyone feels like they have a place at the table. The business is made up of lots of very talented people with a wealth of experience who I can learn from, as well as endless opportunities with new sites and roles in the pipeline.”
