Clockwise celebrates innovation and excellence in 2024

A year of milestone achievements and sustainable growth.

2024 has been a transformative year for Clockwise, marked by significant expansion, industry recognition, and meaningful community engagement.

We’ve grown to an impressive 17 locations across the UK and Mainland Europe, welcoming vibrant communities in Bremen and Antwerp. This growth milestone coincided beautifully with the celebration of our roots as we marked the 7th birthday of Clockwise Glasgow, our very first location. A highlight of our European expansion was the official launch of Clockwise The Hague, where we celebrated Dutch culture with traditional games, live painting experiences, and authentic stroopwafels.

Our commitment to excellence was widely recognised this year, with Clockwise being named one of the Best Places to Work in 2024 by The Sunday Times. This prestigious accolade reflects our dedication to creating an exceptional workplace environment. Our success continued with multiple award wins, including the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Award for Service Excellence, the Urban Living Impact Award for Best Adaptive Reuse Project for Bromley Old Town Hall, and Cardiff Property Awards for Workspace of the Year. Clockwise Leeds also shone by securing the Flexible Space Association Award for Excellence in Customer Service.

A particularly proud moment came with the announcement of our COO, Alexandra Livesey, being elected to the Flexible Space Association’s Board. As longstanding FlexSA members, this appointment not only recognises Alex’s valuable contributions to the flexible workspace sector but also positions us to help shape the industry’s future.

The innovative Clockwise Campus, our pioneering workspace in the metaverse, flourished with an exciting summer programme featuring six diverse events. From enlightening Q&As with finance managers to engaging chats with influencers and thought-provoking lectures with AI experts, we continued to push the boundaries of what a modern workspace can offer.

Our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence reached new heights too with the achievement of three ISO certifications: ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 9001 for operational excellence, and ISO 27001 for data protection. These certifications underscore our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in every aspect of our operations.

Community engagement remained at the heart of our mission, with over 700 events hosted throughout the year focusing on members’ wellbeing, professional development, and social connections. Our commitment to giving back was demonstrated through raising over £13,000 in cash donations, along with contributions of toys, hygiene kits, clothing, and furniture to local charities and communities.

And we continued our investment in employee wellbeing by offering over 400 wellness hours, ensuring our team’s health and happiness remain a top priority. This commitment to our colleagues’ wellbeing has been fundamental to our success and growth throughout the year.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to announce our first independent management agreement, The Louise by Clockwise, which will become our second Brussels location. As we celebrate this year’s achievements, we remain grateful for the continued support of our members, partners, and colleagues. Clockwise’s commitment to creating inspiring workspaces that foster innovation, collaboration, and community continues to set new standards in the flexible workspace industry.
