Flexible serviced office memberships and meeting room hire await at your new home, for work, on Fitzalan Road in Cardiff.

Widely recognised as the city with the most castles in the world, Cardiff’s premises certainly aren’t all centuries old…

Designed by Seymour Harris, the landmark Brunel House that houses the shared workspaces of Clockwise Cardiff, was originally built to serve as headquarters for the regional British Rail offices. It may not have the lengthy history of many of Cardiff’s buildings, but this 1970s tower is the largest commercial property in Wales by far.

Working with architects Morey Smith, 2020 saw Fitzalan Road’s Brunel House reimagined, retaining the mid-century exterior whilst equipping our serviced offices with everything the modern business could need.

In the words of our COO Alexander Brunner, “Brunel House is a fantastic location and we’re delighted to bring the Clockwise concept to Wales’ capital city to meet new demand and build a meaningful community.”

Offering meeting room hire, parking space, a design that maximises natural light, a creche, an on-site cafe and some impressive views across the city, your flexible membership will also grant you access to business necessities such as:

  • Unlimited, high speed and secure WiFi
  • Breakout areas, kitchenettes and club lounges
  • Technology for collaboration, from the Clockwise app to our in-house A/V
  • A dedicated office support team, included in the fee
  • Connection to a network of members and businesses

See some of our personal favourites below.

Little Man Coffee – Like all good days, all good lists should start with an espresso. Little Man happens to do some of the best in the city, some unforgettable cakes and are located mere minutes from the door of Brunel House.

Barburrito – If you’re looking for a quick lunch with lots of flavours, these freshly made Mexican treats will fuel the afternoon of deep work. Made in-store every day, enjoy classics and twists on burritos, protein bowls and nachos with some churros to round it all off.

Treetop Adventure Golf – It makes for some great post-work putting, but mulling over a problem? Mini golf also happens to be amazing for the creative process. There are fun times to be had on these inventive courses and the food is not bad at all either.

Giardini di Sorrento – Home to a thriving Italian community since the 19th century, you don’t have to walk very far in Cardiff to find your favourite dishes from the Bel Paese. Our favourite so just happens to be this snug little award-winner where you can find beautiful southern pasta dishes like Orecchiette Tasso or traditional pizza made to family recipes. Oh, and they even do gluten-free.

The Dead Canary -A highly rated bar, staffed by masterful mixologists. Winding down after a long day at the laptop or winding up the weekend, their creative cocktails are some of the best in the city.

If you’re a start-up, scale-up or solo entrepreneur looking for a new serviced office that gives your business what it needs without the worries of inflexible traditional leases, get in touch to find out why Clockwise Cardiff might be the perfect fit.
